Information Technology
The Information Technology Department is responsible for administration, operations, and maintenance of technology and its use in supporting the county business functions and goals. It is also responsible for Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and E-911 Rural Addressing for the county. The IT Director is an appointed position and reports directly to the County Board of Commissioners.
IT/GIS Departments major duties include the selection, acquisition, installation, maintenance and support of the countywide network, servers and computers, business applications, and county website.
