Engineering Operations Manager

Position Objectives:

Under the direction of the County Engineer, the Engineering Operations Manager is responsible for engaging in and managing the daily operations of the engineering team to survey, design, permit, right-of-way acquisition, and monitor the construction of civil engineering projects for roads, ditches, and bridges to assure compliance with standard specifications and conformance with state, federal and other agency requirements, regulations, and standards.

Minimum Requirements:

The minimum qualifications are completion of a two-year college or vocational civil engineering curriculum.  Class D driver’s license is required and the ability to obtain MnDOT inspection certifications if you do not already have them.

Desirable Training and Experience:

Four years’ experience related to civil engineering in surveying, design, and inspection of civil engineering projects
