Mission Statement: 

The main function of the Treasurer's Office is the collection of Real Estate, Personal Property and Mobile Home Taxes. The Treasurer's Office is located on the second floor of the Courthouse. The office has easily accessible service windows including a handicap accessible window. The Treasurer's Office updates the tax parcels for current ownership and property owners mailing addresses.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Treasurer's Office is also responsible for the receipting of all County funds. Deeds are also processed for payment of Deed Tax and Mortgage Registration Tax. This office also works closely with Escrow Companies maintaining up to date information on taxpayers Escrow Accounts.

The office also stores all the tax rolls dating back to 1903. The tax records are public information and are available for review by the public.

The current County Treasurer also serves part-time as Personnel Director and is available for questions regarding job openings. The Treasurer is also responsible for maintaining Pay Equity Information.
