Mission Statement: It is our mission to hold offenders accountable and offer opportunites for change while restoring justice for victims and contributing to a safer Minnesota.

Summary of Responsibilities: To provide investigative services to the Court/Releasing Authority and to provide supervision and referral services for offenders in order to protect society and to facilitate law-abiding behavior. This department is responsible for making specific recommendations to the Court at the time of disposition/sentencing and is thereafter responsible for providing accountability for those sanctions imposed. This department operates under a high degree of authority to act independently and is expected to make decisions within the complete guidelines of the statute and DOC policies and procedures.
